The Woman Behind Created Beloved…
My name is Amy Millsap and I am currently a stay-at-home mama to four kiddos in northern California. I married my high school sweetheart after falling in love with him over our mutual appreciation for “Saved by the Bell”.
I grew up in a Catholic household in the San Diego area with two supportive parents and two younger sisters, the middle whom has Down syndrome. Both of my sisters have shaped me into the woman I am today – strong, responsible, (and I’m hoping) compassionate.
Musical theatre, dance, and choir (where I met hubby) were my passions in high school and then I went to a small liberal arts college in LA to study Child Development and Psychology.
I landed my dream job(s) and became a Catholic elementary school teacher while living briefly in Dallas and Chicago before eventually settling in the Bay Area of California. Once I had my first-born, I became a SAHM. Our family loves to travel, read, and play in our backyard.
I started Created Beloved as a way to “put myself out there”, share my passions (and hopefully inspire others), and to practice writing. Ultimately, I’d love to publish my own children’s book and even my own women’s devotional one day. We’ll see…
